I was just playing Simon for my husband last night. He had a rough chidhood, but he isn't ready to hear it in this song. He thinks it's too vague. I think it couldn't be more on target.

I liked Broken, and I really felt like you captured the essence of Simon. I got chills after the "you're alright, you're alright, you're alright" You kept it understated at the beginning and then built it up so gradually....it's really good. Thanks for sharing that.....

The sad thing is I did. I just left it alone. If I push it I'll ruin any chance in the future. But I think he just doesn't want to think about it.
