Possible album cover
Tunelab has set an article saying that this is the new album cover for Smoke and Mirrors.

The LHN team has reached Tunelab and has found out that the source was anonymous. so at this point it is NOT official. but if it is, thats a pretty rad album cover.
I hope it is. That is very nice. Something I could totally make myself, but still awesome.
I don't know, but that site seriously needs a grammar lesson... :|
It looks...cool, generic, a little boring...I think it'd be better if Smoke & Mirrors wasn't so hard to read
wtf are you talking about "Grammar lesson!?" how many sites am i gonna have to chase you around asking you this,
What? You need a grammar lesson too?! Gah!

"Lifehouse have revealed the cover art for their upcoming new album ‘Smoke & Mirrors‘ due out December 8th, check it out right here."
"Lifehouse Reveal ‘Smoke And Mirrors’ Album Cover"
Sorry. That's my biggest pet peeve, incorrect grammar
trust me, im the very last person on LHN that needs a grammar lesson. you were just being unclear about what exactly was bad grammar.
Does it really matter? lol :P
Actually it's correct grammar because they are talking of Lifehouse in the plural as in "the guys".
You often see this in band announcements unless it's a solo artist.. I don't see anything wrong with it. But so long as that is the only thing people complain about...complain away :P
I always fail at grammar so you can always correct me, Dre. ![]()
I believe Lifehouse is a collective noun. When such a group is considered as a single unit, the collective noun is used with a singular verb. But when the focus is on the individual members of the group, one uses a plural verb. In this case, Tubelab referred to the individual members of Lifehouse that's why they used the verb "have". Either way, it's correct.
Anyway, I agree with Daniel. Complain away! (so long as it's not about Lifehouse). ![]()
I can't spell half the time and so I am sure I suck at grammar. Sorry,in advance. I just love Lifehouse and want to talk about it. If you need to correct me, just be gentle. I'm here to have fun.
i like the cover art! it looks cool...but would it confuse other buyers as to the album title? they'll be having a hard time reading "swoke willols" ![]()
LOL!
I had to look at the (rumoured) album cover again haha you're right! It reads "swoke willols"! Oh wait, isn't it more like "swokg willols"? ![]()
Personally I struggle with knowing whether or not to refer to a band as a singular unit or plural. There are multiple people within a band, but a band is also seen as a single entity. An already plural band name such as The Foo Fighters would probably be referred to as plural, but Lifehouse is(using "is" here because I'm referring to the name itself) a bit tougher to figure out. Just something I think about, lol.
We have ran into quite a conundrum...haha
I would say "Lifehouse has..." since they're a single unit. But it can be argued...
yeah...idk about the upside-down writing...
If this is going to be the album cover, then I really like it. It's different from their other album covers. And having their faces on it does get old...so keeping it simple works for me!
As far as the grammar goes, it looks right to me. I'm pretty sure when it's one person it's "has", and more than one it's "have". But I'm not sure what Lifehouse would be considered...I looked into it a little more and found this site...but it's a little confusing and I've always hated grammar!! ![]()
